Hi! I'm Divine, a writer, editor, and human rights attorney. I’m currently working with my amazing agent, Alice, at ASH Literary on my debut horror novel, Skinfolk. 

As a Black, queer woman, I try to write stories that amplify the experiences of my communities. I contribute to legal writing and research on human rights, poverty, and discrimination, many of which connect to the themes in my books. My articles can be found below.

When I’m not writing, I am the Assistant Managing Editor at Porter House Review, Literary Programming Intern at the Texas Book Festival, and the Administrative Assistant at Abode.
